Things your mother never
told you.....
To make using the bond machine even easier!
-
At the beginning of every row, pull
enough yarn loose from the skein to knit the entire row. Failure to do
so will result in tightly knit stitches that will not block out and will make
subsequent rows difficult to knit.
-
At the beginning of each row, pull
the yarn taut while you line up the carriage with the first needle to be knit,
and then release the yarn. Knit the row.
-
Whenever changing yarn, place a
clip on the end after knitting one row.
-
If the hem reaches the floor as you
knit, roll it into the knitting to keep tension on the stitches.
-
Smaller size sweaters and lighter
weight yarn will require less tension weight.
-
After removing the knitting from
the machine and stretching lengthwise, let the piece "rest" for a day.
