1.  With waste yarn, open cast on 12 sts.  Knit a few rows.  Set row counters to zeros.
2.  Change to main color.  Knit to rc = 15.
3.  One at a time, release, let drop down and relatch hook up every other row of  sts 2,5,8,11 to form rib.
4.  Remove sts from machine onto either a garter bar or needle.
5.  Bring forward 3 needles to wp next to working needles.  Rehang sts, leaving needles 4,8,12 empty.
6.  Pick up purl bar of adjacent empty needle and place on empty needle.  Repeat across row.  Knit to rc = 30.
7.  One at a time, release, let drop down and relatch up every other row of the same sts as before to continue rib.
8.  .Remove sts from machine onto either a garter bar or needle. 
9.  Bring forward 3 needles to wp next to working needles.  Rehang sts, leaving needles 5,9,13 empty.
10. Pick up purl bar of adjacent empty needle and place on empty needle.  Repeat across row.  Knit to rc = 45.
11.  One at a time, release, let drop down and relatch up every other row of the same sts as before to continue rib.
12. Remove sts from machine onto either a garter bar or needle. 
13.  Bring forward 3 needles to wp next to working needles.  Rehang sts, leaving needles 6,10,14 empty.
14. Pick up purl bar of adjacent empty needle and place on empty needle.  Repeat across row.  Knit to rc = 75.
15. One at a time, release, let drop down and relatch up every other row of the same sts as before to continue rib.  And also, sts 6,10,14.
16. Transfer 6^th st onto 5^th st, 10^th st onto 9^th st, 14^th st onto 13^th st.
17. Move sts so that there are no empty needles between knitting.  Place any empty needles in NWP.  Knit to RC = 90.
18. One at a time, release, let drop down and relatch up every other row of the same sts as before to continue rib.
19. Transfer 5^th st onto 4^th st, 9^th st onto 8^th st, 13^th st onto 12^th st.
20. Move sts so that there are no empty needles between knitting.  Place any empty needles in NWP.  Knit to RC = 105.
21. One at a time, release, let drop down and relatch up every other row of the same sts as before to continue rib.
22. Transfer 4^th st onto 3^th st, 8^th st onto 7^th st, 12^th st onto 11^th st.
23. Move sts so that there are no empty needles between knitting.  Place any empty needles in NWP.  Knit to RC = 120.
24. Move sts on machine behind latches. 
25. With transfer tool, place row 1 of knitting, on corresponding needles of knitting on machine in hooks. 
26. Push back needles so that back stitches knit together with front sts.  Bind off.  Remove waste yarn.
27. Weave in any ends.
